If you came here thinking you’re going to get a bomb recipe for a smoothie to start your morning with then…you came to the right place.
Strawberry Orange “You’re a Rock Star” Smoothie
What you’ll need:
1 orange
4 fl oz of orange juice
10 oz of frozen strawberries
4 oz of greek yogurt (I use honey flavored)
2 cups of ice
protein powder (optional)
What you’ll do:
Peel the orange, put in blender, blend
Add in orange juice and protein powder, blend
add greek yogurt, blend
add strawberries, blend
add ice, blend
pour + enjoy!
I blend in between each step just so it’s as smooth and creamy as possible. You can’t go wrong with this smoothie. I’ve made it almost every morning of quarantine and before that it was my weekend treat. This could be 2 servings or 1 if it’s serving as your breakfast. It’s bright and refreshing – perfect smoothie to start any day. Let me know if you try it!
