Spring is the season to refresh. Whether that’s cleaning, training, baking, or spending time in nature, Spring is the time to hit that refresh button. Clean out the cobwebs and let in the fresh air both literally and figuratively. Spring has officially sprung and therefore, I figured it would be a good time for a “Spring has sprung haul”. As I clean out some of the junk in my home, it’s a great opportunity to haul a couple of new things in to try out. It feels like a fresh coat of paint, giving life to my beauty cabinet, bookshelf, or wardrobe. Spring has sprung so it’s time for me to spring into some fun new products with this haul!
Beauty
Masks are always a great way for me to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. I’ve heard great things about the three below in particular and I thought I’d give them a go!
Neutrogena Radiance Boost Mask
Psst…Neutrogena is having a deal where you buy 6 masks, get 1 free!
There has been a lot of buzz around these products so I’m excited to try it out and get my glow on.
ROYAL & LANGNICKEL – Prismatic Ombre Fan Brush
Why not add something pretty to the makeup collection? I received this brush in my March Ipsy bag. While I was unable to find the brush for sale online individually, I did find where it comes in a couple different sets, for as low as $20!
Mind
While I always think reading books that create an introspective eye, it seems like Spring is especially a good time to dive into these reads. If you want to see what else I’m reading this Spring, check out my Spring Reading List! Find me on Goodreads so I can see what you’re reading too!
The “Little Bit” collection is cool because they are short, cheap books that also look pretty on a table. These are perfect tidbits for me because while I’m interested in reading and learning more about Chakras and dreams, I think after awhile I might become a little too overwhelmed with information if these books were a regular size. These books are perfect for dipping a toe in.
I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book. More of an investment time wise then the two above but from what I’ve gathered, well worth it.
Fashion
After the winter months, which means something very different living in LA but nonetheless, I always like to switch over to a little more color, a little brighter, a few more patterns. Breath new life and inspiration into my wardrobe. Such an easy and inexpensive way to do this is through jewelry. I think I picked up these pieces for less than $20 for all four.
I may have to get this one in green too…
Home
Candles
I just happened to walk in on the day where they were having a sale on every 3 wick candle. It was my lucky day indeed. I picked up these two. They smell absolutely amazing. Although the Pineapple Sunrise is probably more of Summer candle, like the Pink Prosecco candle, it just has such a fresh, light scent. If nothing else, the Pink Prosecco is perfect for burning in the middle of Spring while the Pineapple Sunrise is a refreshing transition from Spring to Summer.
I haven’t fully dived into decorating the entire house differently for each season. I wish I had it that together. But since I still like to acknowledge the change in season (in my house even if there is no acknowledgment from Los Angeles). Adding a decor piece here or there keeps the “Spring has sprung” mentality alive. So I picked up this little cutie. Since I retrieved this at Pavillions, I’ve linked a Spring sign that is just as cute from Etsy.
Health
Olly Vitamins
Spring training isn’t just for baseball players. I know I’m not the only one putting in a little more effort before Summer is here and we’re all inevitably too hot to not wear shorts. While I’ve definitely upped the amount of yoga I’m doing and the duration of Scout’s walks, I’m also trying out these bad boys. Health is from the inside out and it doesn’t help if the packaging is cute too.
Since taking these, I fall asleep so fast. It’s a miracle, seeing as I’m always up late not able to turn my mind off.
These taste good and I’ve seen a noticeable difference! Never hurts to add a little boost to my hair, skin, and nails.
Music
My Spring soundtrack
To be used for picnics, Spring cleaning, the works. I’m constantly adding new music to this playlist so be sure to follow it!
