Very simply, here’s what you need to know.

I love pizza, coffee, record players, and books.

My sidekick’s name is Scout – he’s the best.

I am all about peace, love, and Jesus.

I live in Los Angeles and am from Colorado.

I get by with faith, positivity, and stubbornness.

I’m a proud Millennial – I like when people underestimate me so I can prove them wrong

I dance whenever and wherever there is a song worth dancing to (even if that’s in the grocery store)

He’s a rescue dog

He was rescued in Colorado with a foundation called Second Chance Rescue

He is 6 years old

He is part Dachshund, part Long Haired Chihuahua and part Terrier of some variety

Scout and I became a duo 12/25/13, 5 days after I graduated college

Likes: stuffed toys he can tear apart, spending time outside, dog parks, and playing chase with me

Dislikes: Garbage trucks, skateboards, big dogs, and bicycles

He brings a “bedtime toy” to bed each night. It’s my favorite thing

My brother rescued Scout’s brother. His name is Sunny. They remember each other when they see each other. It’s the absolute best.

Scout is my heart and soul – I’ve mentioned him in every job interview or date I’ve ever been on (lol)

That’s right, we’re Christ centered around here. We break the mold of what it looks like to be a modern woman of faith. To hold compassion and forgiveness and acceptance for other people, as Jesus would.

That mentality does look different then a lot of us were taught to be as women of faith. But we’re moving past what was taught to us because it was the culture of Christianity and moving into what the Lord has in store for us, the women He has created us to be.
