February is coming to a close and if these first two months are any indication to how the rest of my year is going to go, then I’m going to have a lot of fun, be very happy, but also exhausted. But the kind of exhausted that is hard earned and so worth it.
Highlights:
Tried rock climbing again (first time since middle school)
Went to the Annie Awards with friends to celebrate the Animation industry
My friends threw me a surprise dinner to celebrate my new adventure
Started my job at DreamWorks to be on the crew of Fast and Furious: Spy Racers
My mom came to stay with Scout and I for a couple weeks to help us transition into this new, exciting, exhausting job
Visited to The Huntington Gardens for the first time with my mama
Minnie’s Moonlit Madness (a massive scavenger hunt at Disneyland), tied to my friends, and meeting Courtney Reed, the woman who originated the role of Jasmine on Broadway
Celebrated Elise’s birthday
Tried out a bullet journal (updates to come)
Started women’s bible study back up

Loving
Figuring out what pages I want to include in my bullet journal. Figuring out what can be taken from my many, many memos in my phone and put pen to paper.
This dress that I got from Amazon – it is so affordable and I felt so put together and profesh going to work in this outfit!
Learning
To budget
The first item on the to-do list after getting a new job: make a new budget. Which is exactly what I’ve been working with this month. After a couple of pay periods, I’ll get to put my budget to good use! I’ve downloaded a couple of budget apps so we’ll see how that goes next month. I want to try out a couple of them and will recommend the one I stick with.

Thank you, next
February was an incredible month. It was definitely the month of love and support for me and not at all because of Valentine’s day. With so many changes already in motion, I can only imagine what comes next.
